Travelling. It leaves
you speechless, then turns you into a Storyteller.
I’ve always been a Storyteller of sorts. Growing up I had a
love of reading. Be it comic books, storybooks, fairy tales, epic novels, etc.,
reading was my passion. So much so that I took courses to establish a career in
writing with two diplomas in Children’s Literature under my belt. Currently I’m
ever-so-slowly working on a novel manuscript in my free time that I’m
eventually going to share the with world. However, this isn’t about my
manuscript. Or my writing. This page is all about me.
My favourite books to read have always been the ones when
the characters go on a journey. And my favourite books are the Lord Of The
Rings novels. But those books aren’t the only ones where the characters quest.
Most, if not all, fantasy novels have the protagonists leaving their comfort
zones and going on an expedition. And that’s where I am right now.
I’m on a journey. A quest, if you will, to adventure as much
as possible. I was stuck in a miserable rut back home in Canada and felt that
the only way to get out of it was to hit the road for a little bit. And that’s
what I did. I packed a backpack small enough for airplane carry on with a few
essentials, boarded a plane, and went halfway around the world to beautiful New
Zealand.
So if you’re interested, feel free to tag along on this
Canadian’s journey as I travel and adventure as much, and as long, as possible.
Sinceriously,
-Chad
